with the solution outlined by Kelly ford the other day, a software speech user can set the volume of Game Day Audio independently from that of the synthesizer. It would take a fairly skilled scripter to make it easier, though I suspect it could be done. Mike, as you rightly suggest, none of the options you mention work for the software synthesizer user.
