Hi all. I posed this question to the PC Audio list over two weeks ago, but got
no response. This concerns Macromedia Flash. This should be a pc audio
related issue, because there is some audio related to flash content; but if
it's not related to pc audio, please let me know: I had the flash player
installed with this computer, I believe; and subsequently, I came across a
program that I'm trying to use, and the instructions said that I may have to
uninstall the flash player; so I did that, thinking that it might solve that
problem; but actually, it didn't. Now, I came across a website which I was
able to traverse with no problem, the Panasonic.com website; but now, I can't
do that because they use flash content. I tried to download and reinstall the
flash player by going to macromedia.com, but the website won't let me do that
there. I read on their site that flash is installed with Windows XP, but is
there another way I can get that back, without having to reinstall Windows. I
think that would be a drastic step. Someone told me that maybe something got
put into the registry that won't let me do that. Help! Please! Then maybe I
won't be so cranky. Anyway, thanks for any help you can give me, regardless!
