Oh well bruce, there are lots of things in this world I don't understand, but you'd have to hear it I guess in order to appreciate the difference. I'm not admittedly the most expert in the world when it comes to PC audio, but I do have a good ear, and I don't think that it would even take the most excellent of ears to be able to notice, if nothing else, the fullness and increase in detail when listening to these mp3s at 24 bit. I mean, what can I say, I wasn't expecting much either <g>.
Keep in mind, I'm using the MAD encoder, so I can't speak to how well the Nulsoft mp3 input plugin would perform at that level. Just give it a whirl and tell us what ya think. Just be careful to configure both the playback and encoder settings correctly.
