Hi Doc, I would absolutely agree with this. Sound Forge does require more
grunt. Studio Recorder is extremely snappy, even on quite slow machines, and
Goldwave is better than Sound Forge in terms of its responsiveness on such
machines as well.

John what is your opinion that some feel that SF is more memory intensive
than Goldwave?

Hi Dennis, this is all fine and not disputed. However I would challenge the
most experienced blind Goldwave user to perform a series of common tasks
used in sound editing, because I know which product would complete them
first. No big deal if you're just doing this as a hobby, but if you're more
serious than that, time is money.

I AGREE WITH THAT. I DO A LOT OF WORK FOR ESPN HERE AND USE GOLDWAVE FOR
EVERYTHING. ALSO DO A LOT OF RECORDING AND EDITTING FOR A COUPLE BANDS THAT
I'M IN AND ALSO USE GOLDWAVE FOR THAT. VERY CONFORTABLE WITH IT. THE MENUES
ARE COMPLETELY EASY TO USE AND YOU DON'T EVEN NEED SCRIPTS AT ALL TO WORK
WITH IT.
