I will say that it's some better than it was last year, at least from 1 game I've heard, but they really should do better. I'd seriously consider paying a little more for better quality. Maybe I'm spoiled by nfl.com. This past year, at least on the broadcasts I heard, they sound about as good as an F M radio station. There's no reason mlb.com can't have some quality that's at least somewhat close to nfl.com. Also, another idea. I noticed last night when listening to the Braves that I did get their broadcast, but I got there through the Braves website.
