I have a curtis portable dvd player. Its a nice player, I got it for christmas. Its good for what I want, although it fails in the accessibility department when I press a button called virtual remote. Unless your very good like me (have a good memory), you won't remember where things are. For example, when you press virtual remote, and want to go to "repeat," you need to go down, left, right, up, then down. Very hard to memorize, although if you just need specific features, it wouldn't be so bad. All I need is fast forward/search, rewind/backwards, random, and repeat. Iether then that, it really is a good player- again, another negative feature- the battery only lasts about 2.5 hours, is this normal?
