Hi Patrick. That was the very first idea I had. You're correct in theory, it should work, but in this case, I guess the text and the virtual buffer just weren't cooperating! The text simply would not appear in the virtual buffer. So much for that idea. Good thought though.
Anyways, I do have a text copy of the registration code, so that if necessary I can re-register it.
