Hello,

I've now tried to append to an existing file in Total Recorder. I have the
file on my hard drive, open it in TR and press Record. When I finish
recording and save the file, the original file is over-written with the
recording I have just made - the original contents of the file have
disappeared.

Is there something else I need to do to make sure I keep the original
contents of the file and the new contents are just added to the end of what
was already there?

Thanks,

Caroline.

the answer to both questions is yes, you can append and you can join
files together.
