Hi. Make sure that Append to recording is active, as opposed to Insert, on the play/Record menu. Then hit Ctrl-End to go to the end of the current recording. Now record, and the new recording should be appended to the original.
I just did it and it works, with V5.3 Pro, and I don't think this is a limited feature.
