I have heard it records whatever it can receive., if you were to use skype 
with the cable set as the devices to use you would tell wave in to use the 
cable out, and wave out to use the sound card in. If you don't use the 
virtual cable with skype, it could be possible to only capture their side of 
the conversation. Not sure how many pairs you can set up with the repeater, 
if you add more cables. There must be a way of getting it done. I wish they 
made a program like audio highjack that is used on the mac. I never used 
that, as I don't have one, but I heard that you can tell it to record all 
the audio from skype, and then record the mic as well. That would be a lot 
easier if windows sound worked that way.
