Hi Jim. There are 650 megabites on a 74-minute CD, and 700 megabites on an 80-minute CD. There is a thousand megabites to a gigabyte. With audio CD's, you could put over 80 CD's on an 80-gigabyte harddrive, but with MP3 CD's, a whole lot more.
