how do you find out what the current tempo is?
it sounds like that it doesn't give that info either.

Try the process menu and then time stretch, this will expand or compress
the length of the song, I use w.e. 4.5 and the only edit field that
isnt labled is the final tempo edit box. Note you will have to put in
the current tempo in the dialog as well...hth.
