Hi Mate, You need Nero Burning Rom or another CD burning program if you want to write data CDS / DVDS. Easy CD Extractor only supports the burning of audio CDS. Also, what they are talking about when they refer to Easy CD extractor working with Nero is that Easy CD extractor supports a Nero audio digital format (Nero AAC) and of course to allow Easy CD Extractor to support this format, Nero has to be installed on your computer.
