If you have Sound Forge <SF * at least I mean> you can open these files from the file menu. I seem to believe that SF 7 would also extract sound from .mpg files.
BT SF 8 will definitely do so.
Cheers

Subject: Problem with MPG Files
Hi all. I thank everyone who tried to help me with this, but I didn't seem to get much help. These files that are on this CD that are MPG files are a challenge. I don't really want to listen to these stories on the computer; so I have to find some viable solution. I don't know if I can convert with Soundforge, or convert to WAV or MP3, or what I can do. Should I use a trial version of Nero? Or Easy CD Creator? Or Premier CD Creator? Is there a solution to this that doesn't entail sitting in front of my computer to listen to these stories. MPG's are video files. Maybe I'll have to make a DVD to play on my DVD player, where I eventually want to play these files. I can play DVD's, naturally, on it; I can play MP3's on it, but I can't play those MPG files on it, unless maybe some sighted assistance can help me get round this problem. Please, I would like some real solutions. Pardon my rant, folks.
