When I was checking out the Panasonic DVD players, I heard that they had the capability for DVD ram. What is that?
ah yes,
DVD Ram is basically the Betamax format of the DVD Recordable format wars.
well actually this isn't exactly true; there are DVD+R and DVD-R, but both of these
are still around - DVD Ram isn't (much).
(Betamax - for anyone who wants to know - was the competing format to VHS)!
history has a strange way of repeating this same mess, again and again, the current
players are HD DVD and Blu Ray discs.
(not to mention Double Layer Discs....)
