Ann: A couple of gthings might be causing this problem. First, are you burning the files to cdrw (cd rewritable) disks or cdr (cd writable) disks? Most standard cd players will only read cdr disks, so this is what you have to use when burning. Secondly, you have to be sure you are telling Nero that you want to create an audio cd. Otherwise it just burns the data files to the cd and standard cd players can't read this. I don't have a copy of Nero, so I can't tell you where to check this, but I am sure someone can if indeed this is your problem. Finally, this probably isn't necessary, but whenever I create an audio cd, I always convert my mp3 files to wav files. Like I say, probably not necessary, but I've just had better luck creating audio cd's when I do this. Hope this helps. Jim

Subject: Nero Express and making audio CDs Hi everyone, Tonight I attempted to burn a music, audio, CD from a compilation of MP3 files on my computer. It appears as if the process went fine, but when I placed the CD in my CD player, it wouldn't play. However, when I placed it in my new DVD player, which plays just about anything from DVDs to MP3 and audio CDs, it played just fine. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here,a and why the CD would not play in my CD player? Thanks. ~Ann -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
