Well, my sighted nephew was down when I was attempting to play the burned CD, an when I played in in the DVD player, it showed that it is apparently burned in the CDDA, audio CD, format. I had also wondered if the files might not have been burned to a data CD although I had selected the Audio CD format specifically.
I am also using CDr discs. I learned years ago that most CD players would not play the RW discs. So, it's a real mystery as to why it would not play I the DVD player.
