Subject: Re: Pitch Shifting with Soundforge
Hello, when you get to the part where you hit enter on shift, hit preview
either before or after you get to the semitones slider. Preview is alt P.
This will play the file from the start, or will play a selection if you've
marked it. Play with the semitones slider until it sounds right, and if it's
almost there but not quite, then go over to the next set of controls for
fine tuning. If you're using Jaws, then it's two tabs for each control, one
is a slider, and the next tab over is the edit box for that control. If you
need more help, write me again, and I'll help more, because I'm doing the
same thing with the Six Shooter series, and I'm doing normalization and
sound cleanup on the files as well.
Thanks a lot.
Matthew
