Hi there. Well, I'm actually using Windows ME. Furthermore, I'm using the Sigate personal firewall. Yes, I do have real player accepting streams, since there are other sites I'm able to access no problem. But, for some reason CSpan's java clip thingie seems to trip my pc up.

Do you have pop up blockers on your computer, turn them off. How much ram do you have? do you have Real player accepting internet streams? Hope this helps Scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joy Tilton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, September 27, 2004 10:45 AM Subject: Re: real player question I have an interesting problem. Everytime I try to bring up a feed from www.cspan.com, I get an illegal operation occuring every time. I tried this with Real 1, and it would freez up my computer. So, I installed real alternative. Same bloody problem. Now, I no it can be accessed, because I have someone accessing that site with Real player all the time no problem. But, when I try it, I get the illegal operation, or my pc freezes. I'm actually trying to access the on demand stuff from CSpan. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 9/27/2004 at 7:06 Matthew Boyer wrote: U know what u can do? Win Amp has a plugin that lets you play real player content. U must still either have Real Player or Real Alternative on the system. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Miller" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list.
