If you have Windows SP2, it could be blocking a port, not allowing the Real player to work. SP2 tells you about this in a message but sometimes JFW and perhaps WindowEyes doesn't anounce it. Look at the top of your screen with your mouse keys and you may see this message and some buttons to deal with it.

Subject: nfl field pass problem.

okay, i'm signed up. real.com are showing my nfl field pass subscription.
but i've spent the last hour trying to connect to the miami dolphins game. i
go to nfl.com, go to the appropriate page, hit enter on the miami feed,
realplayer opens, and just sits there! anyone else having problems? am i
supposed to sign in to field pass somewhere first? i had this same problem
for the new england game thursday night, rather the indianapolis feed in
that case. i gave up in the end and when back to the archive the day after
and this played fine first time.
