the nice thing is that CDEX is really self explanatory. put in your disc, launch cdex, and then press the f4 key for your options. go to the encoder tab and choose the windows mp3 codec. then tab over to the bitrate selection combo box and set that to something like 160 or 192k, i prefer 192k, or for my very favorites, i'll even kick it up to 256k. Then after you do that, press ok. then, hit the f9 key and all your tracks will be ripped into mp3 files. they'll show up in c:\my music\mp3, i believe is the path. on some systems the path is different, but you should be able to determine the path. It's a cool program, and hey, it's free. price is right.
