Morning all,
Using Win98/SE, Jaws 5.0, and MSN Messenger 5.0.
Will set this up....
On my computer table I have my external speakers set on each end of it
which also holds the monitor. I have the microphone which I use for talking
on MSN Messenger resting on the table between the speakers, it is a hand
held, for ease of getting to. When I receive a call, or call someone, I let
the microphone rest where it is till I get confirmation or receive
confirmation on whether the call was connected. All this time Jaws is
jabbering away. When my friend finally starts talking, he says that he heard
Jaws yaking away perfectly well all the time that the microphone was resting
on the table top.
I understand that the microphone was picking up the speaker vibrations. When
I pick up the microphone to talk, all my friend says he hears is my voice
breaking up.
I put the microphone down again just to see what happens , and he hears Jaws
perfectly well.
Microphone problem?
Any suggestions for better him to hear me better?
Thanks,
Morey
