*DevOps Engineer Job*
*GENERAL INFORMATION: * Title: Devops Engineer Location: Cupertino, CA Duration: 12 Months contract Pay-terms: C2C Visa: Open Level: Senior Priority: High Total experience: 9+ years visible on the resume. Rate: $50-$60/hr on C2C *JOB DESCRIPTION: * We are looking to fill an Infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineer position where the individual will work on infrastructure projects, automation of processes and provide operational support. The candidate must have a strong Unix / Linux administration, scripting and programing skills (no exceptions). *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * 1. Lead projects around systems and data center build outs to include Networking, System Administration, Storage, DevOps, Security, etc. 2. Responsible for building plans for Infrastructure related projects and coordinating the dependencies between multiple development teams 3. Heavily involved with setting up recurring status meetings, facilitating planning meetings and daily standups 4. This role involves anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues 5. Speaking to details of the project to both the leadership and technical teams from beginning to end of all projects 6. Utilizing organizational resources appropriately 7. Managing cross-functional interdependencies 8. Providing risk management and issue / problem resolution as required 9. Must have Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrable leadership skills, including the ability to manage a remote / offshore team *REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * 1. Strong experience in the following programing languages: Python, Django and Java. 2. A strong understanding of software development lifecycle 3. A strong understanding of infrastructure technologies such as load balancers, application servers, both SQL and no-SQL databases, routers, firewalls etc… 4. Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style 5. Have strong communication, presentation and cost management skills. 6. Professional experience working in multiple IT-related roles, including some type of infrastructure engineering / support. 7. Professional experience working with Infrastructure teams 8. Professional experience working with multiple teams 9. Professional experience working with large program implementations requiring Infrastructure deliverables 10.
