If I'm just giving away an app for free, does the app itself need to be (or can it be) certified somehow? I've tested it on all the emulators, as well as both of my Handsprings, but I'd sure hate to crash somebody's pda by mistake.
There is a certification self-test that's available from the PalmSource developer program. When you're in your account, you can add your application, and you'll get a link with information on tests you need to run to certify it, allowing you to use a Palm Powered logo in your marketing materials.
