Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you had problems with installing Fuel@OPNFV from usb
stick. The truth is that we don't use this way for Fuel master installation and
it was not checked by us. Currently I don't have an access to the hardware
where I can test this but instead ] I propose to try opnfv approach: we use
"jumphost" server with general purpose OS like Ubuntu or CentOS where we
create virtual machine (using libvirt) and install fuel master on it from ISO
image. You will find vm xml definitions in fuel@opnfv repo, it will require at
least 90GB for storage and 3-4GB RAM. Important thing is to create linux bridge
on host which will include physical interface used for pxe boot other nodes.
Fuel master vm interface should also be connected to this bridge so guest os
will have access to pxe network and Fuel will be able to discover node. For
more informations about libvirt network configuration please look here
http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Networking#Debian.2FUbuntu_Bridging.

This approach has some advantages since it will allow you to use opnfv
deployment scripts which you find in fuel@opnfv repo in ci directory. You will
be able to automate fuel master deployment, plugin installation and openstack
environment configuration. We support fully virtual deployment: fuel master and
OpenStack nodes in VMs, or OpenStack nodes on bare metal servers managed by
ipmi adapter.

Regards,
Michal
