Dear all, I wrote to ask for your help in OPNFV installation. We tested arno 1.0, arno 1.2 and Brahmaputra 3.0 ISOs but not successful. Here are the problems we were facing: 1) arno 1.0 installation: arno.2015.1.0.fuel.iso from http://artifacts.opnfv.org/arno.2015.1.0.html Solved problems: We has a problem with kickstart, as our installation boot device was USB. after solving this, we had the problem "unable to read package metadata." which was solved by changing file extensions. The third error was about packages which also was solved by editing extentions (.r to .rpm). (We checked the iso checksum and it was fine. Although the problem finally solved, I was wondering why we had to make some edit in iso to make it work!) Now we're following the instructions in install-guide.arno.2015.1.0.pdf. We changed the grub boot parameters, but after some time, we didn't see PXE Setup page. These are the steps in the installation guide: a) Change the grub boot parameters, b) Wait until screen Fuel setup is shown, c) �Select PXE Setup and change the following fields to appropriate values. 2) arno 2.0 installation: arno.2015.2.0.fuel.iso from http://artifacts.opnfv.org/arno.2015.2.0.html Solved problems: The same. Then we followed the instruction in install-guide.arno.2015.2.0.pdf. In the section "Install Fuel Master", the step 5 is: Select PXE Setup and change the following fields to appropriate values. There is no PXE setup again. 3) Brahmaputra 3.0 installation: opnfv-brahmaputra.3.0.iso from: https://www.opnfv.org/opnfv-brahmaputra-fuel-users In this version, we could not solve the kickstart problem to read from usb flash. In arno releases, we changed kickstart address from cdrom:/ks.cfg �to hd:sda1:/ks.cfg and it worked! � We also tried building ISOs but were not sure this would solve the problem.
