Having some troubles installing Openwrt 8.09 with 2.6 kernel on the
subject machine. Everything went nice but I cannot get b43 started in AP
mode or any mode. The module loads ok, i see the interfaces in ifconfig,
the type of the interface is mac80211 in luci.
In system log however i can see the module loading, firmware loads too
but radio says it is disabled. I cannot see any AP around me with iwlist
scanning, i have some hotspots around me. The AIR led is flashing during
the boot seq. The system is running ok with a 2.4 kernel the only
trouble is the fact that the AIR led is dimmed. Hostapd is installed and
also wpa_suplicant.
If somebody has successfully installed a 2.6 kernel openwrt on an Asus
WL-500W please PM, i dont want to bother the list with too much traffic.
