I also don't get a vote, but this sounds great.

Myself being in the market for some new Wifi 7 capable routers and a replacement for my aging gateway.  Would buy at least 4 of these in a heartbeat.  And I would be willing to wait for them if they are coming.

Personally I think this mix is great.  1G copper is perfect for connecting POE hubs for cameras and other low bandwidth IOT stuff.  For the gateway,  10G SFP perfect for a gateway downstream of a switch and 5G copper perfect for connecting to an ISPs ONT.  For Wifi routers, the 5G copper or 10G SFP is great for connecting upstream to my switches.

Would it have any storage options (Sata or M2?) or internal mini pcie to support LTE or 5G cards? Nice to have for me only, but I could imagine lots of people wanting it.

Please consider options for distributing in Asia as well so I can get them if they become available...

Hi,

starting a [VOTE] to get approval allowing me to begin the development of OpenWrt "Two".

"Two" will have all of the features that "One" has with the following upgrades.

* MT7988
* 10G SFP
* 5G copper
* 4 port 2.5G copper
* 1-2 port 1G copper
* Tri-band Wi-Fi 7

"Two" will be produced by GL.iNet and we are exploring options for US/EU based distribution.

"Two" will (hopefully) be in the 250$ region with yet again a portion of that being donated to the project.

expected availability is late '25.

+1

Please push the selected chip vendors to release documentation for their chips too, like MTK did for the OpenWrt One.

Thanks,
Hauke
