>From a GPIO perspective there is none. The LNAs of the 5GHz radio section are hardwired to the AR9380 chipset. They are controlled directly by the ath9k driver in the antenna setup. In practice this means that 5 GHz should just work. No manual interaction with the LNAs required. The best way to test this is to basically repeat the test I mentioned in one of my last e-mails (iw dev wlan1 station dump), this time for 5 GHz. If the LNAs aren't enabled you would notice a sharp drop in signal strength from the router's perspective as you move the device away a few meters.
