Hi,

Until recently (including with the RC1 release of OpenWrt Attitude
Adjustment) things were working ok on the linksys e1000 (besides the
things which were not ready then).

However, using recent builds of trunk (built by me, and built by
http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/), the serial flash does not
work (for comparing, see logs from when working at
https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=179178#p179178):

I tried building without patches 060 and 070 from
target/linux/brcm47xx/patches/3.3/, since I thought maybe these were
the cause; however, the same problem occurs without those patches
included; this leads me to think that maybe it is a regression in the
kernel?

It would be greatly appreciated if someone knows what is causing this
regression, and how to solve it.

The thread https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=26896 deals with
getting OpenWrt to boot on a hardware-identical router (wrt160nv3),
and it seems the issue there was the flash; however, that does not
explain why it was working before, but not now.

I am working on this; it seems from the thread on wrt160nv3 etc. that
it might be kernel config so im trying that, but even if that works,
should it be re-enabled in trunk?

Thanks.
