Here I also have got ar71xx box (dir-615-e4) and I also see similar lines in log: Jan 1 00:10:48 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 00:20:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 00:20:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:30:50 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 00:30:50 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:30:50 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:40:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 00:40:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:40:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:40:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:50:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 00:50:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:50:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 00:50:51 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:00:48 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 01:10:48 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 01:10:48 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:20:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 01:20:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:20:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:30:50 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 01:30:50 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:30:50 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:40:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) Jan 1 01:40:49 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: received EAPOL-Key 2/2 Group with unexpected replay counter Jan 1 01:50:47 OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 90:00:4e:76:57:0d WPA: group key handshake completed (RSN) The only wireless client here is AMD C-50 based laptop with Atheros AR5B95 Wireless Controller in it. Surprisingly enough I do not experience any wifi connections drops whatsoever. Connection seems to be running pretty smoothly. For last twenty hours I've been running bi-directional iperf testing UDP speed/connectivity between LAN and WiFi segments of my home network. Looking at the gathered per-second throughput log I can't find any measurable speed drop for the moments "unexpected replay counter" showed in the system log of the ar71xx box. Thus this messages in logs might be unrelated to the clients drop issue you are running into. -- Best regards, Alexey Loukianov mailto:mooro...@mail.ru System Engineer, Mob.:+7(926)218-1320 *nix Specialist
