I have a server running openvpn server. I have a client config .ovpn file
with certificates embedded. This config works fine on my Linux laptop as a
client, websites, email, and everything, but when I load the .ovpn file
into the Asus router and activate, any TCP connections fail (EG telnet,
www, etc) even though icmp and DNS works fine. (ping, traceroute)

I set things up as per
https://blog.vpscheap.net/running-a-vpn-server-on-your-vps-everything-you-need-to-know/

Here's my server/client config:
http://www.effortlessis.com/ovpn/server.conf
http://www.effortlessis.com/ovpn/

And from my laptop connected to the ASUS router with the VPN enabled. As
you can see, ICMP traffic seems to travel just fine but tcp isn't. (TCP
works just fine through the same server, same config, only run directly
from my laptop)

Here's the router's system log from the moment I start the openVPN client:
http://www.effortlessis.com/ovpn/

Here's the routing table on the router with the VPN running:
http://www.effortlessis.com/ovpn/

To smoke out firewall issues, I tried disabling the router on the Asus
router completely. No effect; everything acted the same.

That's everything I've been able to think of. What am I missing?
