If its working now, has to be some bad connection that was really taking
more than 60 seconds for TLS handshake.. Even in the new log the handshake
takes about 2 seconds with tens of small (100 bytes) packets exchanged  --
the many small packets is due to the small control channel MTU that Gert
mentioned. On v2.4 the TLS handshake will take about 2 large packets each
way to exchange the certs etc.  That could make a difference if the link is
flaky. Even otherwise 2.4 has many goodies.
