I know Heiko Hund (one of our upstream developers) have been working on a completely new approach for tackling the Windows environment. See this mail-thread for more info: <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.network.openvpn.devel/9237> I'm quite sure Heiko would appreciate more people willing to do more testing, debugging and hacking on his stuff.
