Hi Brent,

I would start by checking that the firewall is not blocking the connections at the required ports.

Try by disabling firewall first and see if the services can be brought up and then put the rules in
firewall for the ports:

80
6080
8773
3260
8776
5672
9292
3306
3260
5000
35357

I think that's all needed.

Best,

George

Good day Guys.

Very new to openstack here.

In my lab im trying to get it all working, but I have stumbled across
with Nova. The Nova service's shows its all in a down state
(http://paste.openstack.org/show/192611/).

Im literally copying command for command from

http://docs.openstack.org/juno/install-guide/install/apt/content/ch_nova.html.

A tail on the nova error logs I see : AMQP server controller:5672
closed the connection. Check login credentials: Socket closed

Here is my config : http://paste.openstack.org/show/192609/

If anyone can help steer me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Kind Regards
Brent Clark
