Re: the dependence on RSAREF in OpenSSL -- this will continue to be a problem
even after the patent expires. Of course, it's no longer available on their
ftp site, and no one at RSA (including dimwitted corporate counsel) seems
to know anything about it. Is any work being done on a replacement?
Another question, regarding documentation for external linkage class functions
included in OpenSSL -- is there any hope that there will be man pages for these,
at least? An O'Reilly book? I don't want to duplicate someone else's efforts,
but am happy to assist with this (my understanding of some of these functions
is proceeding at a snail's pace, hence my desire for man pages).
I posted an earlier request for docs regarding the BN_ functions, because
I am using these directly to generate Blum integers, and for a few other
things.
