Ok - so instead of just opening wordpad/nano/vi/emacs/religious editor of choice, and reading with eyeballs mark I, we're going to have to have a specialized decoder/converter, to read something that as far as I can tell, is going to take up a hell of a lot more storage for ... what purpose? Is there actually a *reason* for this change, or is it just to screw around in the code to do provide an opportunity for new bugs, such as the one you found already?
