Oz, the changes actually add express support for 2005 not specificly support for 2008, the VC90 lines were there previously, all this patch introduces is the express path if the full version of visual studio is not found. VS 2008 will still have problems there are a whole bunch of other small fixes needs for that that are all pretty well understood but need finishing under a different task. The real test here is does express now work as expected, and for me that was yes, and does Standard/Pro/Enterprise VC2005 still work as it did previously and my independent tester said it did.
