Hello all,

I noticed that people use new firmware because of problems. I got FW 4.35h and
tried to update it. With really bad results.

Before, OpenOCD wrote:
Info : J-Link initialization started / target CPU reset initiated
Info : J-Link ARM V8 compiled Dec 1 2009 11:42:48
Info : JLink caps 0xb9ff7bbf
Info : JLink hw version 80000
Info : JLink max mem block 9576
Info : Vref = 0.0 TCK = 1 TDI = 1 TDO = 1 TMS = 1 SRST = 1 TRST = 1

I updated FW, but it was rolled back to some older version from Sep 2008.
Whenever I run JLink commander, I am getting the message about old FW. I run
updater:
SEGGER J-Link Commander V4.35h ('?' for help)
Compiled Sep 27 2011 18:09:42
Updating firmware: J-Link ARM V8 compiled Sep 22 2011 16:23:23
Replacing firmware: J-Link ARM V8 compiled Sep 17 2008 21:12:23
Waiting for new firmware to boot
New firmware booted successfully

S/N: 20100214

J-Link>
But then I exit JLink commander, again start it and still, FW version is the
older one.

If I run OpenOCD, I am getting this:
Info : J-Link initialization started / target CPU reset initiated
Error: J-Link command EMU_CMD_VERSION failed (-116)

What happened ? Did I brick my JLink ? Can I somehow wake it up again?

Thank you in advance,
Vaclav
