It is. I am using Xilinx FPGA right now and xc3sprog is great tool to
avoid running iMPACT and sick USB cable organization based on windrv,
this is why I recommended this before :-)
Thanks to you both for the suggestion. I can confirm that xc3sprog works
well for me to program our FPGA.
I had originally not wanted to add another tool dependency, but given
the problems I've had with openocd I think this is the best tool to use
for now. We'll move to doing the programming with xc3sprog, and using
openocd for other JTAG diags only.
