Please formulate it as a patch and repost it. That will improve your chances
of a review.

What is your REAL problem with the patch?
Except the rebase, the patch follows the rules in

If we rebase and send you the same corresponding patch, do you merge it ?
- or do you ask again to wait on a review and ask us to rebase again
since no review come after 4-5weeks ...
