Hi,

as the subject implies I have never used jtag. I would like to replace
original uboot from this device:

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/gigaset/sx76x

I am confident that the board has this jtag pinout:

http://www.jtagtest.com/pinouts/ejtag

I have bought this cable:

http://www.diygadget.com/universal-jtag-adapter-for-routers-modem-fta-and-more.html

And now the questions:

1. I think that is the cable is interface/parport.cfg . Am I correct? If
not how my interface config file should look like?

2. Any suggestions on how the chip or board configuration should look
like?

3. Is there some kind of "auto-scan" feature to get info about the
board?

I would not like to use advanced features like gdb (at least for now),
but only to use jtag to replace original bootloader.

I realy would appreciate any help. I'm a software guy, new in the
hardware world. Only last week I learned how to solder :)

Regards,
Luka Perkov
