As I mentioned I could not get control over my LPC2148 without this patch. With the patch, "reset halt" worked on the first try. The 2148 errata doesn't mention TRST. RESET# and TRST# are separate pins, and go to separate blocks in the user manual chip overview. Maybe this differs between LPC2xxx chips?
