OK, simple question: Will the new cfg files layout be committed or not? If not, I'll just stop wasting my time. I really have no idea what are you talking about now - if someone want's to use LPC he/she has to set up correct crystal frequency - the flashing fails BADLY without that. That's all. It was like this since the beginning of OpenOCD. I don't see any bug there - it is required by the OpenOCD software. Why exactly and what for? I don't know, probably because LPCs do require that parameter (they fail if the value is wrong). This whole discussion was about cfg file - to make them more user-friendly, and - in my opinion - the layout that I proposed IS better. The whole thing turned to be a discussion about resets and - now - flashing algorithms. My opinion on this subject is just like with resets - the bug (if there really is one) WAS there from the beginning, so - for me - it can still be there for a while, as I cannot solve this issue. 4\/3!! _______________________________________________ Openocd-development mailing list Openocd-development@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
