First, thanks for your assistance.

At the top of jlink.c and jtag.h are some switches to turn on state  
machine debugging.  Could you turn those on with and without the patch  
and then send me the output?  The state machine debugging is only part  
of my patch, so if there was any way for you to apply just that part  
of the patch that would be very helpful.

I don't have any ARM9, ARM11 or xscale gear, so it's very hard for me  
to test this.  Sergey, would you be able to help me here since you  
have the MC1322x and ARM9 gear?
