Hello, When using an FTDI FT2232 based JTAG interface, what limits the JTAG speed? Is it the 12Mb/s USB or the maximum JTAG clock allowed for the attached CPU?
I've noticed that FTDI have a new device (FT2232H) that uses Hi-Speed USB (480MB/s). At first glance it seems to have the same features as the FT2232, but with the higher USB speed. It would need new boards making as it has a larger package and pin count. Would this improve the JTAG speed?
