Thanks for the feedback! I'm hopeful that texture wrapping/filtering can be added at some point too, I've definitely had times where it'd be helpful, though I do appreciate REPEAT textures being the default behavior at least (even if that's not actually a documented feature...)
A small (but non-trivial) amount of work will go a long way into improving JavaFX 3D quite a bit, and I hope that I can contribute at least a bit towards that.
