USB-3 is not supported yet. I have not heard of anyone working on it.
The day is coming where USB3 or 3.1 is going to be the standard for motherboards, and it's going to be difficult to find a MoBo with USB2. Who within the Illumos or OI community is capable of doing the necessary development to add full USB3 support? Does anyone know if there's been discussion of funding someone to write the necessary driver(s)?
