  Hello,

  I am using firefox 27.0.1 and I have noticed that whenever I save a file,
firefox creates an empty file. The "real" file is stored in /tmp. I guess this
is a bug. BTW, I have noticed this problem on openindiana/illumos-ad17c01 and
Solaris 11.

Yes,

I can confirm that behavior on OI /hipster distribution (NOTE, package downloaded from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/?C=N;O=D) tested also 28.0b9 version). Same problem...

BUT! Version 24.3.0esr works just fine!!!

Also, I cannot see image preview in TILE window, but that is //NOT// so important.

Regards.

P.S. I did truss on both (27 and 24esr) versions and couldn't spot difference. I have tried few times to change TMPDIR (in command line when invoking FF), like this:

TMPDIR=/my/tmp/dir /opt/sfw/bin/firefox

and that has worked randomly (so, each restart differently - most time leaving empty files around). So, at the end, I kept 24esr ...
