Someone will need to work with Amazon on this since it's not just as simple as creating a disk image for a desktop or hypervisor virtualization product. You'll need to work with Amazon because they'll have to make your kernel available for use in an AMI -- unless it's possible (if even desirable) to use some of the old OpenSolaris kernels that are already available.
